Val di Noto
One of our personal favorites. Ragusa Ibla feels like a living painting: baroque churches, narrow alleyways, clotheslines strung between balconies… Take a seat on the square by the Cathedral of San Giorgio and let time stand still. Tip: Go at sunset—the light is pure magic.
Ragusa Ibla
Chocolate lovers, take note! Here you can taste chocolate made the ancient Aztec way—grainy, pure, and full of character. Modica is also an architectural wonder, with its dramatic churches and elegant staircases. We always stop here for an espresso and something sweet.
Modica
A peaceful village with a surprisingly rich history. From Greek ruins to Roman remains—you’ll literally walk through the ages. Ideal for a cultural morning, followed by a picnic overlooking the hills.
Palazzolo Acreide
Less well-known, but truly special. You’ll find charming squares, fountains, and quiet churches where time seems to stand still. Authentic Sicily, far from the crowds.
Militello in Val di Catania
Small, elegant, and cinematic. You might recognize it from the TV series Inspector Montalbano. Even if you don’t, this town will win you over. Stroll around, enjoy a gelato, and let yourself be enchanted.
Scicli
Everywhere you look—ceramics! The stairs of Santa Maria del Monte are a riot of color that never gets old. Fun fact: once a year, they’re lit with candles—a magical sight.
Caltagirone
The moment you step into Noto, you’ll understand why it’s called the capital of baroque. Everything gleams in honey-colored stone. From the cathedral to the balconies—it feels like walking through a movie set.
Noto
A vibrant city at the foot of Mount Etna. Here, you’ll experience modern city life wrapped in layers of history. Shop on Via Etnea, enjoy lunch on a sunny terrace, and end your day with a sunset stroll past buildings made of volcanic stone.
Catania
Our agriturismo is peacefully nestled among olive groves and vineyards, yet surprisingly central. That makes Dimora di Dante the perfect home base for exploring these baroque towns. Spend your morning discovering history and architecture, and your evening under the stars with a glass of local wine in hand—this is vacation the way we love it.
